Having known Catherine for many years, it sometimes becomes a bit frustrating and after a while it all gets a bit blasé.

Catherine will often say ‘Your mum’s with you today.”

“Okay, ask her what tonight’s lottery numbers are”

“No she’s showing me egg custards that she used to make, and she says you need to get that tooth fixed. She’s sending her love, and your brother’s here as well, he looks a lot like you. And your blood pressure is getting low again”

“Okay, ask her what tonight’s lottery numbers are and I’ll give all the winnings to charity….”

“Hmm, you need to get that tooth fixed before it gets any worse. And she’s showing me a Jack Russell type of dog and a steep hill where she used to live…..”

“Right, I know all about that but when’s the next bad thing that’s going to happen, what about all the war stuff and terrorism, maybe we could save some lives or something….”

“She says you need to get that tooth fixed…..”

And so on. Over the years I have asked Catherine about religion, life, death, bad places, good places but she is mostly unable to give any fixed answers. Her mum, Barbara, passed a few years ago and Catherine regularly sees her standing next to a bright light, a sort of gate perhaps, surrounded by other loved ones that have passed over. “What’s beyond the light” I ask but she doesn’t know and Barbara seems unable to tell here. Is there a place where bad people go? Catherine seems to think so, until they are forgiven perhaps, but she’s not sure. Are we reborn? For every person on the planet there are likely 9-10 individuals that have lived before, do they all go somewhere, do they get born again? So we could have all been reborn over 9 times? Over 100,000 people pass over every day, where do they all go? Catherine remains unsure. What about all the pets and animals? Do dogs go to the other side, whatever that is? Catherine remains unsure but she will often see pets in spirit. Is there a God….what about Religion…..

Catherine will sometimes say “you have two paths to go down….” Well, we may well choose one of the two paths but we will never know what would have happened if we had gone down the other path. She thinks that some future events are unavoidable but that others may not be. Some of the future stuff that she has predicted quite simply hasn’t happened but on other future events she has been mind blowingly correct.

I very much get the impression that Catherine is allowed to see only certain things and that very much of her work and ability is centred around providing comforting stories and reassurance, and perhaps an inkling of what the future may, or may not, hold rather than saving the World as some sort of super power.

I recall a client who Catherine told she would be driving a blue car. The lady said she would never choose a blue car and had no intentions of changing her car any time soon. A few weeks after the reading, the lady contacted Catherine to say that her house had been burgled, car keys and car stolen, car written off and the insurance courtesy car was blue. I asked Catherine ‘Why didn’t you tell her that her house was going to be burgled and her car stolen, surely that would be much more useful information”. Catherine replied simply ‘Spirit didn’t tell me that, but I could see her driving a blue car’.

It’s all very frustrating stuff…….
